Microsoft Bookings alternative for a designed booking page

Short answer

Microsoft Bookings is Microsoft's appointment scheduler inside Microsoft 365. It is a fit when the business already pays for a Microsoft 365 plan that includes Bookings, staff live in Outlook, and the public page can look like Microsoft Bookings. TimeTuna is the alternative when the host wants a booking page on their own link, including a custom domain, without turning the business into a Microsoft Bookings staff calendar.

Bookings is not included in every Microsoft 365 plan. Check the Microsoft 365 plan list before you assume you already have it.

What Microsoft Bookings does

Microsoft Bookings publishes a page where a customer picks a service and a time. Staff availability comes from the Microsoft 365 calendar. Confirmations and the event stay in Outlook and Exchange. Admins manage services, staff, and the public page from the Bookings app in Microsoft 365.

That is useful for a clinic, salon, or front desk that already runs on Microsoft 365. It is a poor fit if you do not have the plan, if invitees are not Microsoft customers, or if you want the page to look like your site instead of a Bookings template.

Do not run both as the public link. Two booking pages for the same hours create double bookings unless one calendar is the only place availability is calculated.
