TimeTuna

Calendar selection not saving

You switch calendars on or off in the Calendars tab, save, and the page comes back with the old selection.

Symptom

  • You switch a calendar off, the editor says the page was updated, and the calendar is still there when you reload.
  • A new booking page picks the account you connected most recently and you cannot move new events to a different calendar.
  • Disconnecting TimeTuna from your Google or Microsoft account settings looks like the only way to detach a calendar.

Why it happens

  • Which calendar holds new events used to be decided by list position, changed only by dragging a row to the top. Dragging does not work on a phone, so on mobile there was no way to change it at all.
  • Switching off every calendar left the page with an empty selection, which was skipped rather than saved, and the editor still reported success.
  • Toggling a calendar updates the editor only. The change is written when you save the page, so leaving the editor without saving discards it.

Both of the first two are fixed. If you are still seeing them, reload the editor so you are on the current version.

How to fix

  1. Open the booking page editor and go to the Calendars tab.
  2. Switch on every calendar that should block availability, and switch off the ones that should not. At least one has to stay on.
  3. Tap Create new events here on the calendar that should hold the bookings. It turns dark and reads New events are created here.
  4. Press Save. If something in the selection is not allowed (no calendar enabled, or an iCal feed picked to hold events), the editor now says so instead of reporting success.
Removing an account entirely
Switching calendars off changes one booking page. To stop TimeTuna using an account across every page, disconnect it under Profile → Connected accounts. See Calendars.

Still not working?

Open with the booking page URL, the calendar you were trying to select, and the email address of the account it belongs to.
