Email not received
A booking was made but the confirmation, reminder, reschedule, or cancellation email never showed up.
Symptom
- The guest booked successfully but no confirmation email arrived.
- You did not receive the host notification.
- Reminders never go out before meetings.
Why it happens
- The email landed in spam or a "Promotions" tab.
- The address has a typo (no
@, wrong domain). - The recipient's mail server blocked the message (corporate filters, full mailbox).
- Your account email for host notifications is out of date.
- Reminders only fire if the meeting is more than the reminder window away when booked.
How to fix
- Search spam/junk and the Promotions tab in the recipient's mailbox.
- Open the booking record in your dashboard and confirm the email address is correct.
- Add
noreply@timetuna.comto the recipient's contacts. Some mail providers (especially corporate Gmail and Outlook) defer first-time senders. - For missing host notifications, check Settings → Profile, the notification address is the email on your TimeTuna account, not the calendar account.
- For missing reminders: confirm the reminder window is shorter than the time between booking and meeting start. A 24-hour reminder will not fire on a meeting booked 1 hour in advance.
- Try sending a test booking to a different mailbox (Gmail, iCloud) to isolate provider issues.
Deliverability is best-effort
TimeTuna sends through a warmed-up domain, but corporate mail filters can still block anything from outside the org. The fallback is the
.ics invite attached to the confirmation, even if the email is filtered, the calendar invite usually goes through.Still not working?
