Privacy and cookies

Your booking page sets no tracking cookies, on timetuna.com, on your own custom domain, and in an embed. Your guests are never shown a cookie banner, because there is nothing on the page to consent to.

Most scheduling tools put a cookie banner in front of your guest before they can pick a time, and some do not let you turn it off. We took the other route: we removed the cookies instead, so there is nothing to ask about.

What your booking page does not do

No Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or advertising tags.
No session recording. We do not replay your guest filling in your form.
No support chat widget, and no third-party chat cookies.
Nothing written to cookies or local storage. The only exception is a temporary session-storage entry during a paid booking, so your guest’s answers survive the redirect to Stripe and back. It disappears when they close the tab.

What we do record

We count anonymous page views so you and we can see that a page is being visited. The identifier behind that count is derived on our analytics provider’s servers, never stored in your guest’s browser, and rotated every day, so it cannot be used to recognise the same person tomorrow or to follow them anywhere else.

Everything your guest types into the booking form goes to you and to the calendar and email systems needed to make the meeting happen. That is covered by our Privacy Policy.

What this means for your own privacy policy

If you embed your booking page on your own website, or point a custom domain at it, you do not need to put the booking page behind a consent banner or a click-to-load placeholder. It sets no non-essential storage, so it is not the thing your banner is for.

You should still describe in your own privacy policy that you use a scheduling tool, that the booking details your visitors enter reach TimeTuna, and who they can contact about it. Our Cookie Policy has the full table of names, locations and lifetimes if your legal team asks.

Your own choice as a host

Separately from your guests, we ask you once whether we may use analytics and marketing cookies while you are using the TimeTuna dashboard. That answer lives on your account, so it follows you to your laptop and your phone, and you can change it any time under Profile, Privacy, or from “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as a no without asking you.
